Welcome to English Writing F

Hi everyone and thanks for taking English Writing F!!

In this class we will focus on practicing different types of paragraphs/essays. When you write your essays, it's very important that you plan what you will write, and how you will write it, before you actually start writing. Also, it's very important to write several drafts, and to edit your own writing. So, you will have to write several essays for this class, and show me that you actually planned before you started writing!

At the same time... I also think it is also important to practice writing for communication. This is writing that we may plan, but that we don't spend too much time on. For example, writing a diary, writing a letter or email to a friend, or writing a blog. Thus, in this class, you will also be asked to create a blog and write several blog entries during the semester. I'd also like you to communicate with your classmates by leaving comments on their blogs.

Anyway, I hope we can have a lot of fun together in this class. Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions or problems.
