Health

Of course I think about my own health, but lately I tend to be most worried about my family’s health. I haven’t seen my family for over 3 years, so I often wonder if they are okay or if my parents have aged. I’m always worried that something might happen to them while I’m overseas. I call them occasionally to catch up, but sometimes I only find out about their news after it happens. For example, in recent years both of my parents have had operations, but they only told me AFTER the operation. I guess they didn’t want to worry me, but it only makes me more worried. My dad has many health problems, such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. My mum has also had some problems recently with some sun spots which have had to be removed, including a big one on her nose. While I enjoy living in Japan, the one downside is that I don’t get to see my family often, so I don’t really know what is going on in their lives. I think I might give them a call tonight.
